As the soaring popularity of fermented food consumption becomes apart of health awareness, we are seeing a similar trend in the soil industry. During the Lift & Co Expo, we encountered a company who is solely focused on fermented soil amendments. We met with Gary Growell the founder of “Good Green Earth Co.” to learn more about his product.
The process of making your own nutrient superfood to feed your plants only takes few weeks.
Organic-rich soil goes through a special fermenting process that makes it rich in nutrient and encourages mineral density. When the soil’s microecology is optimal, it continues to self-feed the plant and aid to fight against pesticides without additional chemical additives. Gary claims that by using his organic soil amendment, there will be an increase in flavour, colour, and yield for your cannabis plants.
The Good Green Earth Co. also offers a Bokashi compost system where you can make your own fermented soil using household food waste. Pet owners have the option to use a specially designed kit that will reduce waste into compost. The system is designed for indoor use while promising to reduce foul odours and unwanted pests. The process of making your own nutrient superfood to feed your plants only takes few weeks.
It was great to see an environmentally conscious company who offered an alternative method in soil amendments. These products from the Good Green Earth Co. are readily available in your Home Hardware store or on Amazon.
