Growing Stories with @420_chip
⚡️A Q&A session with your friendly neighborhood gardener
🌱Why are you passionate about growing your own herbs?
"I suffer from severe anxiety and through the years of different types of prescriptions I found that cannabis would stop the tension inside building up. I was spending too much money and suffering during times it was unavailable. Not always knowing what I was smoking also played a big part."
🌱Were there any obstacles that you had to overcome?
"First of all it's illegal to grow in the UK, so paranoia is the first hurdle. Secondly after months of reading the whole internet, I thought I knew what I was doing..but still encounter problems everyday. I grow in a wardrobe so there's humidity problems, air flow problems, heat loss problems and the list goes on but it's all good experience!"
🌱What makes growing rewarding?
"I've enjoyed every part of the whole process from seed to where it is now... a few more weeks and I will have the pleasure of harvesting! I also love learning new techniques to grow and different ways to maximize the yields."
🌱Favorite strain to cultivate?
"There's so many I want to grow! My plant is called 'quick one' it's a auto-flower with strain genetics of white widow and northern lights. Although I would like to grow various strains, for the time being I'm going to stay with auto-flower strains for their quick grow properties and looking forward to growing strains like Jack Herer, Candy Kush and Amnesia Haze in the future."
🌱What growing tips do you have for the aspiring seedlings out there?
"I don't have many tips as I'm still learning everyday, one thing I have learned is that the plant will do what it wants and you're only there to help!"
