Why are you passionate about growing your own herbs?
"My passion for growing cannabis came real early. My father taught me to grow cannabis when I was 8 years old. With some Panama red seeds, he brought back from South America. I tried a few times on my own, but it was still illegal then. So I could never keep it going. I began my new journey with cannabis growing almost 1 year ago. I grow it mainly so I don't have to purchase my meds from a store. I had a severe accident where I dislocated my left hip, shoulder, and broke 1 vertebra and smashed a disk."
Were there any obstacles that you had to overcome?
"Getting my indoor environment has been the single hardest hurdle to jump. That and the curing process is the second thing I find difficult with growing my own."
What makes growing rewarding?
"I find just sitting amongst my flowers listening to music, meditating, and tending to my garden chores is cathartic."
Favorite strain to cultivate?
"I haven't found a favorite strain just quite yet."
What growing tips do you have for the aspiring seedlings out there?
"Use solid genetics and get everything you need all your supplies before you start growing."

Why are you passionate about growing your own herbs?
"What sparked my passion to grow cannabis was the ability to grow whatever strain I chose to."
Were there any obstacles that you had to overcome?
"The only aspect of growing I found difficult at first was diagnosing different deficiencies that my plants came across."
What makes growing rewarding?
"The most rewarding aspect of growing for me is watching a seed grow into an amazing flowering plant with all sorts of healing benefits."
Favorite strain to cultivate?
"I've only had a limited amount of strains I've grown so far but if I had to choose it would be Ting from MTG seeds, it has an incredible citrusy scent that made it a blessing to have in the house during flowering."
What growing tips do you have for the aspiring seedlings out there?
"Do lots of research and always be on top of your garden management."

Why are you passionate about growing your own herbs?
"I have always been around the plant. With a biker father, I spent summers up in the Emerald Triangle/Humboldt county trimming and helping out with outdoor gardens that were run by my dad's friends. Been growing outdoors whenever I can since my teens and once I was able to I start growing indoor doing my own thing."
Were there any obstacles that you had to overcome?
"For me, maintaining moms and genetics was always especially challenging. Especially for a home grower with limited space, it can be hard to keep them happy and healthy, but preserving the genetics you have is very important. You may never see them again."
What makes growing rewarding?
"Of course harvest but for me, it’s the look on people’s faces when they see the new or go out of their way to tell me how much they enjoyed it."
Favorite strain to cultivate?
"Right now it’s Caps cut of Mac. Mac1. Some people are turned off by the hype but it truly is a unique and special cultivar."
What growing tips do you have for the aspiring seedlings out there?
"Diligence. Make sure to check the vitals every day and don’t slack. Any nutrients can work. It's taking days off and keeping your environment in tip-top form. Environment environment environment!"

Why are you passionate about growing your own herbs?
"I was given a clone by a co-worker and grew it outdoor. It was pretty much on from then on. Now I'm indoor, due to laws in my area, but it all started from that clone."
Were there any obstacles that you had to overcome?
"I'm legally blind, so scouting for bugs and checking trichrome ripeness is the most difficult for me. But, I have a grow partner (best friend) who picks up my slack on that. Also, I have a hard time with waiting for the buds to be done because I get so excited to smoke new flavors, and my partner helps save me from myself on harvesting plants too early! Hahaha"
What makes growing rewarding?
"Getting to smoke the buds that you have put 4 plus months of worry, sweat, and love into. Also, trying new strains that you grow from seeds and experiencing new flavors, smells, and highs. There's nothing better than finding something out of the ordinary. "
Favorite strain to cultivate?
"This is a hard one, but right now it's the cookies and cream that we grew on our last run and are currently growing. The flavor is amazing, smoke is smooth, grows great, and the high hits hard."
What growing tips do you have for the aspiring seedlings out there?
"Research as much as you can about growing. Go organic, since we switched over it has never been, cheaper, easier, and flavorful! Also, if you have set backs, don't let them discourage or stop you, everybody has them, they are plants so things aren't perfect, just have fun and enjoy the process and learn from each run. Don't be afraid to grow your own!"

Why are you passionate about growing your own herbs?
"A long story short... not all dealers are good people. Some use the monies to better the community but most to nearly all dealers are greedy money hungry criminals that will sell one cannabis that does more harm than good. Being sprayed with glass to add weight. All sorts, even spraying cannabis with hard addictive drugs. The idea of growing my own and knowing what's going into my plants, what pesticides have been used and the idea of not passing my money over to an organized criminal business that pays nothing into society. That was enough for me to think why I haven't done it sooner."
Were there any obstacles that you had to overcome?
"My biggest obstacles to overcome were sound and heat. Keeping it stealth is key in the UK... LEDs over HID and HPS as LEDs run a lot cooler. As for sound, unfortunately, I just ended up chucking money at it, I found and S&P fan that claims to be 12db less than other fans in its power range also having to spend out on an acoustic exhaust and acoustic ducting."
What makes growing rewarding?
"The most rewarding part is the fact that it's grown by yourself..."
Favorite strain to cultivate?
"My 1st plant has still got to be my favorite. She was a super silver haze from a seed I got from a friend. Even tho I butchered the grow, it only made me learn for future grows."
What growing tips do you have for the aspiring seedlings out there?
"I've learned that with any problem the best way is to go back to basics, checking Ph is to be the first step... What's going in and what's coming out."

Why are you passionate about growing your own herbs?
"What sparked my passion to grow this beautiful plant called (cannabis). I have been smoking cannabis for 25+ years and as I got older I really began to notice the difference between (clean grown CANNABIS) and that "shralph" cannabis and believe it or not, there is A LOT OF RUSHED!!!! POORLY BOTTEL FED CANNABIS OUT THERE! A few years back I reunited with a good friend of mine and he SHOWED me to the paths of the RIGHTFULLY ORGANIC WAYS of KNF"
Were there any obstacles that you had to overcome?
"The elements of this Desert. The summers get up to 120 F and the winters get down to the teens. It's very important to maintain a steady temp during all stages of plant growth. When you are dialed into the RIGHT temp you can literally watch them grow 4 to 5 inches a day during veg."
What makes growing rewarding?
"The FACT that I know exactly what's going into the plant is completely safe and not harmful in any way. Also, the way my friends react when I let them test my crops."
Favorite strain to cultivate?
"I do not have a favorite strain there are too many. I mostly run after kushy/fruity strains and look forward to what I can get them to do!"
What growing tips do you have for the aspiring seedlings out there?
"Take your time, don't rush mother nature by force-feeding your plants. (Ride the WAVE and let the things they want already be sitting and available to the PLANT AS THEY NEED IT THEY WILL TAKE IT!!"

"All the wonderful growers I’ve met and their grow experiences made me want to try my own. From then on, I’ve been having a kick ass time."
Were there any obstacles that you had to overcome?
"Well I was pretty bad with lighting but got over that, now I’m basically trying to always have the best pH water going into my plants and organic everything. I’d say watering is my weak point."
What makes growing rewarding?
"Well obviously everyone’s gonna say the budssss but to me, I just really enjoy watching my plants grow and learn about how to grow them better. I enjoy seeing my plants healthy!"
Favorite strain to cultivate?
"Honestly I don’t know but I really do like cookies and cream yet I haven’t tried to grow it and I also really enjoy bi-polar jackie."
